The team at Perry Trade Services is proud to announce we have been named as the winners of the South Australian Panasonic Australia Business Award (21 - 50 employees) in the 2006 Telstra Business Awards.

This is a significant achievement for the company as this year the Telstra Awards received over 4500 entries from businesses Australia wide and we now go on to Sydney to compete in the national awards.

Each and every person involved with the company has shared a vision to make Perry Trade Services a benchmark for quality and service and winning this prestigious award is not only a great honour for us but also wonderful recognition for the dedicated team.

Perry Trade Services remains committed to its continual improvement strategy and even though this award outlines the high standing of this regional based company within the wider business community we will continue to strive for improvement in all aspects.

From its humble beginnings in 1994 Perry Trade Services has grown exponentially to be one of the regions major employers. The company’s commitment to strategic planning, strong business systems and continuous improvement has seen this family owned company grow from a sole operator electrical business to a fully integrated trade services supplier, employing 49 staff with three offices in the Barossa and Clare regions.

For us the award highlighted that a business can be successful whilst remaining committed to customer service and the support of its local community. Being a rural based company we are always vigilant of being part of and putting something back into the community that supports us.

National Winner

At the 2006 Telstra Business National Awards gala presentation held on Saturday 23rd of September at the Westin hotel Sydney Perry Trade Services was announced as the winner of the Telstra Regional Award for Australia.

After the excitement of winning the state Panasonic award it was a truly humbling experience to be part of the national finalist group of thirty five outstanding and inspirational businesses from across Australia. Then to be singled out as the winner of the Regional Award from this elite group was the greatest honour the company could ever have imagined.

It is an outstanding feeling to know that regional businesses in South Australia can mix it with the best businesses in Australia and also highlighted that a business can be successful whilst remaining committed to customer service and the support of its local community. Being a rural based company we are always vigilant of being part of and putting something back into the community that supports us.
